Piano

$28 / 30 min · $52 / 60 min · first lesson free

Our most enrolled program. Students work with Maya or Devon on repertoire they actually want to play, alongside fundamentals that stick because they’re tied to real music. Classical, pop, jazz — we follow the student’s interest and gently broaden it.

First six weeks: proper hand position, five-finger patterns in C and G, reading treble clef, two songs of the student’s choosing, and the very beginning of left-hand independence.

Guitar

$28 / 30 min · $52 / 60 min · first lesson free

Jonas teaches acoustic guitar with an emphasis on chord vocabulary and rhythm before moving into lead technique. Most students can play three songs they like inside the first month. Acoustic to start — electric comes later, the transition is easy.

First six weeks: proper picking-hand and fretting-hand mechanics, the open chords G C D Em Am, basic strumming patterns, and three full songs the student picks from a starter list.

Ukulele

$28 / 30 min private · $18 / group session · first lesson free

Lila teaches ukulele to our youngest students and some of our most enthusiastic older ones. The instrument is forgiving for small hands, the tuning is easy, and the chord shapes are achievable in a matter of weeks. The music theory transfers cleanly to guitar later, if they want.

First six weeks: tuning by ear with a teacher, the chords C F G7 Am, four-beat strumming, and two campfire songs sung along to whatever they’re currently obsessed with.

Voice

$28 / 30 min · $52 / 60 min · first lesson free

Maya teaches voice with a focus on healthy technique — breath support, resonance, and protecting young voices from strain. Students work on ear training and reading basic notation along the way. Repertoire is always chosen collaboratively. Moana, Adele, Simon & Garfunkel — all welcome.

First six weeks: diaphragmatic breath, comfortable range mapping, ear-matching games, and a first song the student loves — performed end-to-end by week six.

Group classes

For the youngest students — or the ones who like company.

A group setting works especially well for very small kids. They learn from each other as much as from the teacher, and the social part keeps them coming back.

Ages 4–5

Mini Notes

Six-kid groups meet once a week for 45 minutes. Students explore rhythm, pitch, and basic ukulele or piano with Lila. No prior experience expected.

$120 / month for four sessions
Ages 6–8 + parents

Treehouse Together

Parent-and-child classes where everyone plays. Great for kids who need a familiar face in the room to get started. Ukulele and light percussion.

$140 / month per family for four sessions

Not sure which one fits your kid?

That’s the whole point of the trial lesson. Book it, bring your child, and we’ll figure it out together — honestly, even if the answer is “come back next year.”
